Jayaprakash R. Desai, M.D. MBA

Dr. Desai is a Board Certified Internist who has been in private practice of Internal Medicine in Georgia for the past twenty five years. He graduated from B. J. Medical College at Gujarat University of India. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in Queens, New York and his Cardiology fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a Medical Director of Delmar Gardens, D. Scott Hudgens and Laurel Bay Nursing facilities. He serves on the board for Hi-Hope Center and Gwinnett Health System. He was recently voted one of Gwinnett County’s best Primary Care physicians in Internal Medicine.

Rekha J. Desai, M.D.

Dr. Desai is a Board Eligible Internist who has been in private practice of Internal Medicine in Georgia for the past twenty five years. She graduated from B. J. Medical College of Gujarat University in India and received a gold medal award during her Internal Medicine residency. She completed her internship in Queens, New York and residency in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is Medical Director of Parkwood Nursing Facility.

Arati H. Joshi, M.D.

Dr. Joshi is a Board Certified Internist who joined Gwinnett Internal Medicine Associates in September 2005. She graduated from Baroda Medical College in Gujarat, India and completed her Internal Medicine residency in at St. John’s Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She was in practice in Internal Medicine in Michigan and Illinois for over eight years before joining our practice.

Kartikeya P. Patel, M.D.

Dr. Patel is a Board Certified Internist who has been in private practice of Internal Medicine in Georgia for the past 10 years. He graduated from B. J. Medical College of Gujarat University in India and completed his Internal Medicine residency in Bronx, New York. He is the Medical Director of Gwinnett Extended Care
Center and Life Care Center of Gwinnett.
